Waterfalls in Wyoming

Yellowstone fills most of this page. Lower Yellowstone Falls and Upper Yellowstone Falls, Tower Fall, Gibbon Falls, Firehole Falls and Kepler Cascades are all in the park, with Lewis Falls at 2,358 meters and Moose Falls alongside. Nothing here has a town nearby except the Garden Creek Waterfall, 11 km from Casper; the rest, from Beartooth Falls to Bucking Mule Falls, is a long way from anywhere.

RLQuest knows 69 named waterfalls in Wyoming, 13 of them with a Wikipedia article. These are not after-work quests; most mean a day in the backcountry with the fall as the turnaround point. The app is fine with that. It records the whole route, confirms you reached the water, and marks the trail you walked as tiles on a map that is yours.

How these places turn into a game

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:

1

Places become quests

Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.

2

Being first pays off

If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.

3

The map fills in

Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
