The Rheinfall, 3 km from Schaffhausen, is the obvious starting point. The rest of the list is spread across the country: the Saut-du-Doubs 9 km from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Pissevache 6 km from Martigny, the Seerenbachfälle 27 km from Jona, the Cascata di Foroglio 30 km from Locarno. Closer to Zurich, the Sagentobelbachfall is 3 km from Dübendorf and the Tüfels Chilen 3 km from Winterthur.
RLQuest knows 352 waterfalls in Switzerland, and only 16 of them have a Wikipedia article. Many are mountain streams dropping off a ledge with a local name and nothing else. That suits the app: a waterfall is a precise point, and RLQuest checks your route against it. Get there once and the tiles of the valley fill in.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.
Ordered by how much has been written about each place. The numbers match the map.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
