Connecticut's lights run the length of Long Island Sound. New London alone accounts for four: New London Harbor Light, Avery Point Lighthouse, New London Ledge Lighthouse (1909) and Morgan Point Lighthouse, all within 10 km. Fairfield has Black Rock Harbor Light and Penfield Reef Light (1874), Darien has Greens Ledge Lighthouse and Sheffield Island Lighthouse (1868), and Five Mile Point Light is at East Haven. Saybrook Breakwater Light (1886) marks the mouth of the Connecticut River.
RLQuest knows 19 named lighthouses in Connecticut, nearly all of them with a Wikipedia article: 17 of 19. Lighthouses are the only kind of place with a Connecticut page. Several stand offshore on ledges, so the quest is the walk to the nearest point of land; the app checks your route, and the shoreline you covered shows up on your map.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.
Ordered by how much has been written about each place. The numbers match the map.

A selection, best known first, with the nearest larger town next to each.
RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
