Around Hamburg the interesting places follow the Elbe. RLQuest knows 13 lighthouses within 25 km, among them the Oberfeuer Tinsdal from 1899 and the Wittenbergen Unterfeuer at 16 km, both range lights for the shipping channel. The Altonaer Balkon, 3.8 km from the center, is the view over the harbor everyone ends up at. For palaces you head out of town: Schloss Reinbek at 17.9 km and Schloss Ahrensburg at 21.8 km.
Less expected are the seven megaliths, prehistoric tombs like the Großsteingrab Nenndorf and the Sachsenwald group, most of them a little over 20 km out. Windmills are the other strong suit with 14 on the list, the Braaker Mühle among them. Pick one, and RLQuest will check you got there.
