Hesse's list is short, and nearly half of it lies in the north around Vellmar and Baunatal: the Galeriegrab Calden 1 and 2 are 7 to 8 km from Vellmar, the Lautariusgrab and Riesenstein von Wolfershausen 6 to 7 km from Baunatal. The Steinkammergrab von Züschen is 10 km from Bad Wildungen. In the south, the Pfortenstein near Gelnhausen is dated to 2800 to 2200 BC and the Menhir von Bensheim is 1 km from Bensheim.
Of the 19 megalithic tombs and menhirs RLQuest knows in Hesse, 16 have a Wikipedia article, so almost every stone on the map comes with something to read. Standing stones are a different sort of quest from a castle, easy to walk past. RLQuest checks your route went to it, and the field tiles around it are yours afterward.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.
Ordered by how much has been written about each place. The numbers match the map.

A selection, best known first, with the nearest larger town next to each.
RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
