The Klosterruine Heiligenberg is 2 km from Seeheim-Jugenheim; Kloster Beselich, from 1170, 10 km from Limburg an der Lahn; Kalsmunt a kilometer from the center of Wetzlar. Wiesbaden has the Heidenmauer in town. The north around Korbach is dense with castle ruins: Ruine Itterburg (6 km), Burg Eisenberg (4 km), Klosterruine Ober-Werbe (9 km) and the Ehrenburg (10 km). Burgruine Schnellerts is 11 km from Michelstadt.
