Saxony's list runs from Dresden outward. The Zwinger and the Residenzschloss Dresden are in the city center; Schloss Pillnitz (1720) and Schloss Weesenstein are both 4 km from Heidenau; Festung Königstein sits at 240 meters, 10 km from Pirna. Radebeul has Schloss Wackerbarth close by and Schloss Moritzburg 7 km out. The Albrechtsburg stands in Meissen, Schloss Colditz is 13 km from Grimma, and Glauchau has Schloss Hinterglauchau and Schloss Forderglauchau in town.
At 364 named castles and palaces, 163 with a Wikipedia article, this is a long list by any measure. Saxony also has 82 observation towers and 77 ruins with pages of their own. RLQuest treats each castle as a place worth a first visit: get there on foot, and the quest is confirmed by the track you walked, not by a tap.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
