Dresden has more places on the list than any other German city here, 621 within 25 km, and nearly half of them are hills. The rest is Saxony at its best: Schloss Wackerbarth in the Radebeul vineyards at 11 km, Schloss Weesenstein at 15.6 km, Schloss Albrechtsberg above the Elbe at 4.2 km, and the Jagdschloss Grillenburg at 19.7 km. The Babisnauer Pappel, a lookout point at 330 meters, and the Fichteturm (1896) give you the views.
Forty-eight ruins is a lot for one radius, Burg Helfenberg and the Burgruine Grimmstein included, and the Prießnitzwasserfall is a waterfall just 8.1 km from the center. With a list this long, the Place Book takes a while to fill.
Each hexagon covers a little over 5 square kilometers. The brighter it glows, the more places are inside it. The numbers mark the highlights listed below; the dot in the middle is the center of Dresden.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
