The Kaiserburg is 0.5 km from Nuremberg's center, and the Freiung viewpoint at 0.4 km is closer still. From there the list spreads out: Schloss Neunhof at 7.4 km, the Pfinzingschloss at 13.1 km, Schloß Marloffstein and Schloß Adlitz around 18 to 20 km, and Burg Thann at 20.5 km, 61 castles in all. The Schmausenbuckturm (1888) at 5.2 km and the Moritzbergturm on the Moritzberg at 17 km are the two climbs worth planning around.
Thirty-three watermills is the number that jumps out, strung along the rivers: the Foerstermühle, the Kunstmühle Vach, the Stadelner Wasserrad. The 132 peaks are mostly gentle Franconian hills. Each one is a tile on the map you haven't uncovered yet.
Each hexagon covers a little over 5 square kilometers. The brighter it glows, the more places are inside it. The numbers mark the highlights listed below; the dot in the middle is the center of Nuremberg.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
