The Bavaria stands 2 km from the center of Munich. Beyond the city the list goes up: the Ilkahöhe at 726 m, 10 km from Weilheim; the Archenkanzel at 1347 m, 17 km from Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer. Near Hof are the Schlafender Riese and Wachende Jungfrau (13 km); near Füssen the Pindarplatz (3 km) and 6-Seen-Blick (9 km).
RLQuest's 1253 viewpoints are its longest list for Bavaria, ahead of the 1075 castles, and just 20 have a Wikipedia article. Names like 6-Seen-Blick and Schluchtenblick say what you'll see; most are a marked spot on a ridge, not a building. RLQuest likes them for that reason: a viewpoint is a quest with nothing to buy and nothing to queue for. The app checks your route reached it and the ridge tiles fill in.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
