Brandenburg's towers come in old and new. The Lubwartturm, 24 km from Riesa, dates from 1207; the Kaiser-Friedrich-Turm near Bernau bei Berlin from 1907; the Friedenswarte in Brandenburg an der Havel from 1974; and the Landmarke Lausitzer Seenland, known as the Rostiger Nagel, 7 km from Senftenberg, opened in 2008. Cottbus has the Spremberger Turm in town. Around Berlin: the Naturschutzturm Bergfelde 2 km from Hohen Neuendorf and the Wachtelturm 8 km from Strausberg.
Just 15 of the 56 observation towers RLQuest knows in Brandenburg have a Wikipedia article. Many are modest platforms by lakes and woods. Castles (179), ruins (78) and megalithic tombs (52) have pages here too. Climbing a tower is the sort of outdoor quest RLQuest sets and checks; the app knows from your route that you went.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
