The Harz and the Weser hills supply most of the height. The Harzturm, opened in 2023, is 9 km from Bad Harzburg. The Aussichtsturm Annaturm stands at 405 m, 5 km from Springe. Then the Bismarck towers: Göttingen (1896, 3 km), Hildesheim (1905, 2 km) and Bad Pyrmont (1913, 2 km). Elsewhere, the Scream is 5 km from Soltau and the Magdeburger Warte 3 km from Helmstedt.
RLQuest knows 121 observation towers in Lower Saxony, 25 with a Wikipedia article. Four of the highlights are Bismarck towers with exact opening dates. A tower is one of the cleanest quests RLQuest sets: there is nowhere to be but the top. The app confirms you reached the base from your route, and the hill tiles fill in on your map.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
