The Sauerland and Siegerland towers are the high ones: the Lörmecke-Turm (2008) at 581 m, 5 km from Warstein; the Aussichtsturm Hohe Bracht (1930) 4 km from Lennestadt; the Küppelturm (2022) 7 km from Arnsberg; the Rabenhainturm (1896) 3 km from Netphen. In the cities: the Toelleturm, Belvedere-Turm and Weyerbuschturm 2 to 4 km from Wuppertal's center, the Eugen-Richter-Turm 2 km from Hagen. The region's mining past adds the Förderturm Buchholz, 6 km from Ibbenbüren, and Das Geleucht, 3 km from Moers.
Of the 99 observation towers RLQuest knows in North Rhine-Westphalia, 46 have a Wikipedia article, close to half. Bismarck towers are well represented: Herford, Höxter, Unna, Delecke, Remscheid. A tower leaves no room for argument about whether you got there; RLQuest reads the climb off your route and the tiles around the top fill in.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
