The Black Forest supplies the high ones: the Feldbergturm at 1448 m and the Hasenhornturm (2009), both about 20 km from Freiburg, and the Bismarckturm Sasbach Hornisgrinde (1871, 1164 m) 10 km from Achern. Stuttgart has the Killesbergturm (3 km) and the InfoTurmStuttgart (2020); Freiburg the Schlossbergturm (2002) at 1 km. The Schönbuchturm near Herrenberg opened in 2018, and the Landturm Hörlebach, 13 km from Schwäbisch Hall, dates from 1587.
RLQuest knows 165 observation towers in Baden-Württemberg, 48 with a Wikipedia article. Elevations are listed for many, from 360 m at the Killesbergturm to 1448 m on the Feldberg. Towers are among the clearest targets the app has: one spot, a staircase, a top. RLQuest confirms the arrival from your track and the tiles up the hill are yours.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
