Dublin Bay has the easy ones: Poolbeg Lighthouse 5 km from Dún Laoghaire, the Dun Laoghaire East Lighthouse and Dun Laoghaire West Lighthouse on the harbor itself, and the Baily Lighthouse 9 km away. Waterford is the base for Hook Head Lighthouse (19 km) and Dunmore East Lighthouse; Carrigaline for the Spit Bank Lighthouse and Ballycotton Lighthouse. Out west, Slyne Head Lighthouse, Blacksod Lighthouse and Achillbeg Lighthouse have no town to speak of nearby.
RLQuest knows 67 named lighthouses in Ireland, and only 13 of them have a Wikipedia article, so most are lights you learn by walking to. The Irish-language names are kept where that is what the light is called, like Teach Solais Árainn. In the app, a pier or headland walk to a light is a quest your recorded route confirms.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
