Two coasts, two kinds of lighthouse. On the North Sea side, Leuchtturm Westerheversand (1908) stands 29 km out from Husum, Leuchtturm Büsum is 17 km from Heide, and Leuchtturm Helgoland and the Helgoland Düne Oberfeuer (1936) are out on the island. On the Baltic, Kiel has Kiel Holtenau, Leuchtturm Friedrichsort and Leuchtturm Bülk within 15 km, Leuchtturm Eckernförde is a kilometer from the town, and the Alter Leuchtturm Travemünde dates from 1539.
RLQuest knows 65 named lighthouses and beacons in Schleswig-Holstein, and 37 of them have a Wikipedia article. The same coasts are lined with 84 windmills and 212 megalithic tombs. A walk out to a light is a natural quest: the app records the route, confirms you got there, and the tiles along the dike go from blank to yours.
Every dot is a place. The numbers mark the highlights listed below.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
