Bristol's caves come first: 38 of them within 25 km, and the Redcliffe Caves are 0.8 km from the center, with Ghyston's Cave and Burwalls Cave in the Avon Gorge a little farther out. The Clifton Observatory at 2.1 km and Cabot Tower on Brandon Hill are the lookouts in town. Castles are farther out, Blaise Castle at 6 km aside: Thornbury Castle Hotel at 18.2 km, Caldicot Castle at 18.4 km and Chepstow Castle across the Severn at 21.7 km.
Stanton Drew, around 10 km out, is the surprise: three stone circles, the Great Circle among them, with the Stoney Littleton Long Barrow at 21.7 km for company. The Roman Baths in Bath are 18.4 km out. RLQuest checks that you turned up, not just that you meant to.
Each hexagon covers a little over 5 square kilometers. The brighter it glows, the more places are inside it. The numbers mark the highlights listed below; the dot in the middle is the center of Bristol.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
