The western half of Sheffield's radius is Peak District, and it shows: Higger Tor and Stanedge Pole at 11.3 km, Carl Wark at 11.4 km, Win Hill at 17.1 km and Lose Hill at 20.4 km among 45 peaks. The stone circles come with them, Barbrook One at 14.2 km, the Hordron Edge Stone Circle and the Froggatt Edge Stone Circle, nine megaliths in all. Robin Hood's Cave at 11.8 km leads 11 caves.
Castles are few, Bolsover Castle at 20.2 km, Conisbrough Castle at 19.4 km and Eyam Hall at 17.7 km, but the Shepherd Wheel, a watermill 4.4 km from the center, and the Wincobank Hill Fort at 4.1 km are close and easy. The tors are the long quests; the Shepherd Wheel is the one for a lunch break.
Each hexagon covers a little over 5 square kilometers. The brighter it glows, the more places are inside it. The numbers mark the highlights listed below; the dot in the middle is the center of Sheffield.

RLQuest knows these places too. Which means:
Some of your daily quests lead to a real place near you. The app uses your location to check you were really there.
If you're the first person in RLQuest to complete a quest at a place, it's your first find. The Place Book shows you which kinds of place you're still missing.
Every walk uncovers tiles, each about 350 m across. Over time you can see which corners you know well, and where you've never set foot.
